Academic Entrepreneurship Section

The Academic Entrepreneurship Section at the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of Lodz University of Technology is dedicated to fostering collaboration between students, researchers, entrepreneurs and investors. Our mission is to turn innovative ideas into real products and services. 

Our Centre offers comprehensive support at every stage of establishing startups and spin-offs. We provide training and mentoring programs for beginners and assist researchers in the early stages of starting their own businesses by providing legal and financial advice. For established companies, we help find appropriate sources of financing for further development.

We actively collaborate with the local innovation ecosystem and provide access to a broad network of business partners. 

The commercialization of academic know-how at TUL is supported by a special-purpose entity: TULVENTURE.

TULVENTURE is 100% owned by Lodz University of Technology and was created to commercialize ideas developed at the university. It supports students and researchers in the early stages of starting their own businesses, assisting with the formalities of setting up a company, providing legal and financial advice, and offering access to the infrastructure and resources of Lodz University of Technology. This makes the process of creating a startup or spin-off more efficient and less complicated.
