The main objective of the Tech2Link project is to stimulate economic development in the Western Balkans by utilising the intellectual potential and research capacity of the universities there. As a partner in the project, Lodz University of Technology will share its knowledge and experience in the field of technology transfer. As part of this initiative, Technology Transfer Hubs (TTHubs) will be established. They will act as key platforms for managing intellectual property, facilitating technology transfer and supporting its commercialisation.

Among the planned activities, in terms of competence development, are also professional trainings for students and academic and administrative staff from Balkan universities. These will concern the commercialisation of research results, intellectual property protection and entrepreneurship. Training programmes and networking events to help develop start-ups will be organised in cooperation with experienced experts.

The project will establish four Technology Transfer Hubs, at universities in Albania and Kosovo. The project also includes cooperation with other universities and research institutions from Poland, as well as non-governmental, private and public institutions.
